The Royal Meteorological Institute (IRM) has placed the provinces of Liège and Luxembourg in yellow alert from 10.00 pm Tuesday evening due to expected snowfall.
The alert is until Wednesday 1:00 pm. Snow fall is expected during the night of Tuesday and Wednesday, including Wednesday morning, with a layer of 1 to 5 centimetres forecasted in the Ardennes. In the High Fens, 10 centimetres of snow could fall.

The institute also warns drivers of icy conditions on the Ardennes road network.
