The European Commission will be sending a team of experts to Belgium this weekend to support its efforts to contain African swine fever, a Commission spokesperson said on Friday.
The European Commissioner on Health, Vytenis Andriukaitis, will meet on Monday with the relevant Belgian federal and regional ministers.

Belgium needs to implement the measures decided in the European strategy against African swine fever, the spokesperson said.
