The European Union “will take additional measures” if there are no elections in Venezuela “over the next few days”.
This includes “debating whether or not to recognise the country’s leadership”, the European head of diplomacy Federica Mogherini said on Saturday.

“The EU will take additional measures if no new legitimate elections are organised over the next few days. This includes debating whether or not to recognise the country’s leadership”, Mrs Mogherini said in a press release on behalf of the EU.
