A 57 year-old motorcyclist's life is in danger following a traffic accident in Bruges.
On Monday evening shortly after 18:30, a traffic collision occurred on the Zeelaan, near the Flemish municipality of Dudzele.
The Public Prosecutor's Office in West Flanders confirmed that a motorcyclist had collided with the back of the car in front of him and was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The victim's condition is still believed to be critical.

A traffic expert was dispatched to the scene to investigate the exact circumstances of the accident.
Their initial findings indicated that the motorcycle must have hit the left rear of the car, causing both drivers to lose control of their steering wheels.
The vehicles have been impounded for further investigation by the expert.
