As more and more residents of Brussels opt for cycling as a mode of transport, bicycle rental company Swapfiets has seen a rise in subscribers. The company has 15,000 users across Belgium and now celebrates reaching 5,000 users in Brussels, reported Bruzz.

"Swapfiets is so much more than the bicycle subscription with a blue front tire: it is the story of making cities more livable by ensuring that everyone has access to a good bicycle as a basic means of transport," said CEO Marc de Vries.

Celebrating good times

To mark the occasion, the communication agency Joswald painted a large mural at Place Charles Rogier in Brussels. The mural is situated on the back of the DoubleTree hotel, a popular spot for commercials. Previously, scooter company Tier put up a mural and musician Ed Sheeran advertised his concert in Brussels on the building too.
