Rail traffic will be disrupted from Saturday 6 August until August 29 on lime 163 between Namur and Luxembourg due maintenance and renovation works by railway operator Infrabel, reported RTBF.

Once the project is completed, trains should be able drive faster at a speed of 160 kilometers per hours, which could lead to saving 20 minutes in travel time depending on the type of train used.

Due to the railway upgrade in the works, Belgian railway company SNCB will offer alternative modes of transport, which will be adjusted throughout the month depending on how the work progresses.
