Some 450 STIB drivers and conductors will be on board on New Year’s Eve, ready to take the partygoers home safely.

All metro lines and five tramway lines - 3, 4, 7, 51 and 93 - will be reinforced and working from 8 pm until 2 am. Futhermore, as from 8 pm, metro line 2 will be extended to Heysel for the fireworks. Note that, at police request, the King Baudouin station will be closed between 6 pm on 31 December and 8 am on New Year's Day. It will be necessary, therefore, to go as far as Heysel station (closed during the fireworks show from 11:45 p.m. to 0:15 am) or Houba-Brugmann. The tram 7 terminus will be Centennial. Bus lines 84 and 88 will be limited to Palfyn stop. The Noctis bus 18 will be limited all night to the Stadium stop.
