Changes in the Dexia Administration council

On Monday, Dexia announced that Delphine d’Amarzit had left her job as an administrator with the Franco-Belgian group. Due to her departure, Dexia’s Administration council has decided to ask the Frenchman Corso Bavagnoli to join the Administration council, if the regulator agrees. He replaced Mrs d’Amarzit on Monday the 6th of July 2015. His definitive nomination will be discussed at the next general assembly, the group said in a press release.

A former student of the National Administrative School (ENA), Corso Bavagnoli spent most of his career as a French public servant. In 2009, he was named Economic and Financial Affairs Councilor for Prime Minister François Fillon’s cabinet. In 2012, he became vice-director of banks and general interest financing for the Treasury. He has been head of the Economy and Finance service since May 2015.

The Dexia administration council has nine members, 5 Belgians and 4 French.
