Looking for imaginative ways to keep the kids (and yourselves) entertained during the upcoming Christmas and New Year break?

If so, why not take a journey back in time to the age when dinosaurs and mammoths roamed the planet. The “Giants of the Earth” exhibition, being hosted at the Bourse in Brussels, gives you the chance to get “up close and personal” with these and other giants of the animal kingdom from the dinosaur and Ice Age eras.

The expo, which runs until 4 January, presents 30 lifelike animatronics, which each have their own story to tell.

You´ll face dangerous dinosaurs, meet a mammoth straight from Ice Age and see contemporary giants like the elephant and the giraffe. Each animatronic has a different story: you will see each animal in its natural habitat, hear the sounds it made and each animal makes highly realistic movements. The exhibition also has a large interactive zone with a wide variety of activities.

Giants of the Earth is an exciting and educational exhibition for both children and adults and a visit can be easily combined with a day of Christmas fun at Brussels’ winter event, “Winter Wonders.”

It is open daily from 10am to 6pm and until 8pm on Friday, Saturday and school holidays.

Prices are €10 for children and €12 for adults. A family tickets costs €35. Prices on request for groups and schools.
