Belgian tickets for Tomorrowland sold out in 40 minutes

On Saturday, the Tomorrowland electro festival in Boom sold out of the Belgian tickets in 40 minutes. “There have never been so many Belgians interested”, the spokesman Debby Wilmsen said on Saturday. “The quickest presale, waiting list and sales records were all beaten”.

Organisers starting selling tickets to Belgian festival-goers, who get half the tickets, at 11am on Saturday.  “As soon as the lines opened, there were already more people on the waiting list than available tickets. After 40 minutes, most of the payments and orders had been done”, Mrs Wilmsen said.

The sale lasted 60 minutes in 2014. Organisers say there have been 20% more Belgian customers than last year. “When sales were at their highest, there were 130,000 people on the waiting list”.

Sales abroad will start at 5pm next Saturday. Tomorrowland in Boom (Antwerp Province) will welcome 180,000 visitors from Friday the 22nd of July to Sunday the 24th of July.
