Loic Nottet’s "Rhythm Inside" designated as best Belgian song at Eurovision

Loic Nottet’s “Rhythm inside”, was designated Thursday as the best Belgian song in the history of Eurovision by visitors on the specialized web site of the Songfestival.be contest. “City lights”, by Blanche, finished second before Sandra Kim’s “J’aime la vie’”. The web site organized the vote during three months. Several hundreds of fans responded. Loic Nottet’s song, which gave a fourth place to Belgium in 2015, came out winner.

The singer was thrilled by this success. “When I listen to the first version of “Rhythm Inside”, and I see where I am now, I am very happy. The Eurovision song contest was a great adventure. I learned a lot about myself as an adolescent.”

Blanche, who was last year’s candidate, finishes second before Sandra Kim, who gave the only victory to Belgium in the contest in 1986. Tom Dice’s “Me and my guitar” and Urban Trad’s “Sanomi” complete the top five.
