Two Hergé drawings estimated at 50,000 and 75,000 euros at the auction to be held in Liege on 25.02

Two drawings by Hergé, one in colour and the other in Chinese ink, which were made for a “Snow card” in 1942/43, will be auctioned off next 25 February in the Liege Palais des Congrès. These drawings are estimated respectively at 50,000 and 75,000 euros, indicated Monday “BD Enchères” in a press communique.

Other lots, such as a portrait of Hergé’s first wife, an inked cell from the “The 7 crystal balls” album, and some exceptional albums, will constitute the first part of the Liege auction sale, in the morning.

In the afternoon, sales of original editions are programed, with 305 lots, among which a plate from “Tanguy et Laverdure” by Albert Uderzo, estimated between 30,000 and 35,000 euros. A cover realized by Roba illustrating “Boule et Bill” is estimated between 20,000 and 22,000 euros.

This sale also offers works at “democratized” prices, that is under 100 euros, for comic book amateurs.
