Anna De Guchtenaere is now the oldest woman in Belgium

Following the death of Fanny Godin on Sunday night, Anna De Gent Guchtenaere from Ghent is now the woman of Belgium, confirmed Sofie Bracke, the Ghent Alderman of Civil Affairs on Monday .
Anna De Guchtenaere was born on April 10, 1904 in Ledeberg (Ghent). The “supercentenarian” is 110 years old. She currently resides in the Zonnebloem Nursing Home (Sunflower) in Zwijnaarde. Fanny Godin, who celebrated her 112th birthday on May 27th, died on Sunday night in Léau (Flemish Brabant). According to the nursing home where she lived, Godin died in her sleep. The oldest Belgian man is still Oscar Coulembier, a man born December 31, 1905 in Saint-Hubert and living in Ypres.
