Liège: petrol bomb thrown at building on Rue Saint-Léonard

On Wednesday morning at around 4.00 am, a petrol bomb was thrown at a house on Rue Saint-Léonard, near Liège Atlas, announced Liège police department. The resulting fire was very small and there were no casualties. This new offence, judged at the Assises court, comes just days after a wave of arson attacks in the area the police have linked together. During the night between Friday and Saturday, between 4:20 and 7:20 am, four cars, a crane cab and a construction site toilet unit all went up in flames. Two school buses were also set fire to.

The investigation has revealed that two of the four torched vehicles had been stolen.
