Two Proximus terminals were set alight in Montignies-sur-Sambre and Couillet (Hainaut) during the night between Monday and Tuesday, affecting around 150 customers. The 2 terminals vandalised at the weekend are still being repaired and thought to be 80% complete, said Jan Margot, Proximus spokesperson. To date, there is no evidence that the fires are linked to the vandalism committed this weekend in Proximus buildings located in Montigny-le-lime and Gosselies.
Jan Margot states that repairs are ongoing and should be finished by Wednesday. About 80% of the lines are already back up and running.
Police have not ruled out an inside job.
