The Forum of Jewish Organizations learned with “disgust” that a Jewish man was stabbed on Saturday morning in Antwerp and called it a “terrorist attack”. The victim, a 31 year old orthodox Jew from Antwerp, was heading to the synagogue at the time. He was seriously injured during the attack, but his life is not in danger. It appears to be a pure anti-Semitic attack, said the Forum in a press release.
It hopes that the authorities will do what is necessary to protect Jewish institutions and inhabitants, to avoid this kind of incident in the future.
