During a raid, the Brussels police took a 32 year old man in custody. He is said to have kidnapped a young boy. Pornographic material showing children was also found on the suspect’s computer, the Brussels Prosecutor’s Office announced on Sunday. The victim, who does not have legal papers for Belgium, is between 12 and 14 and not related to the suspect.
The police informed the family when the Institution for Children reported his disappearance.
The suspect, a Belgian national, was not known to police. The Prosecutor’s Office has not released much information. They have not revealed how the suspect was able to have contact with the child to protect his identity.
