6 military personnel were deployed in front of the Jewish museum in Brussels on Saturday morning. The museum was already targeted in a terrorist attack last year which resulted in 4 deaths. This weekend, up to 300 military personnel will be gradually sent out to various sensitive locations in Brussels and Antwerp. The security threat level in Belgium has been raised from 2 to 3 on a 0-4 scale.
In Antwerp, the extra military personnel have also been stationed in the Jewish and diamond quarters.
