A body was pulled out of the Escaut in Antwerp on Sunday afternoon, the Antwerp Prosecutor’s office has said. It has not yet been identified and the cause of death is not yet known. The body appears to have been in the water for a long time. The Prosecutor’s Office Laboratory went to the scene. An autopsy will be done in the next few days to clear up the circumstances surrounding the death.
