There was a family tragedy on Thursday in Audenarde, in the East-Flanders province.
A mother took the life of two of her children before taking her own, several Flemish papers said on Thursday evening. The drama happened in Bijskensstraat in Melden, part of the Audenarde commune. The father was not home when the incident happened, and is currently in Austria. The family had three children, but one of them wasn’t there on Thursday.
