An individual called the emergency 101 number at 9am on Thursday, saying a bomb would explode at the Leonardo Da Vinci secondary school in Anderlecht, according to a spokesperson for the Brussels Midi police. Around 400 pupils were evacuated to a football field. The local police did a sweep, but the specialised units have not yet been mobilised. The police will now analyse the call.
The school was recently in the papers due to fight linked to an anti-Charlie Hebdo petition, which involved a history teacher at the school.
