The air is still too polluted in Flanders

There is too much Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2) in the air in Flanders, due to the use of diesel. The NO2 level in Antwerp went above the European norm during the first three months of the year, De Morgen reported on Monday. The norm authorised by the European Commission was set at 40 micrograms per m3. Flemish environmental authorities used new measures to show that the levels went above the norm during the first three months of this year.  The highest levels were recorded in two places in Borgerhout.
