19-year-old Jules Verdin, a Belgian football player, has died in a mountaineering accident whilst on holiday in Switzerland, revealed his family to Belga press agency. Jules Verdin was hiking with his father when he fell.
Verdin was originally from Tongres, and had trained in Saint-Trond (STVV) and at Standard in Liège. He had just come back from a year at school in the United States, where he was named Best Rookie at Saint Leo University in Florida (South-West).
