The body of a homeless man was found in the middle of the street in Charleroi on Wednesday morning. It is not yet known how the victim died. A security perimeter has been set up. A passer-by found the lifeless body of a 42 year old homeless drug addict at around 5.15am on Wednesday. Local police say he was found on the pavement on Charleroi’s rue du Grand Central, not far from the viaduct roundabout. Emergency services and law enforcement were sent to the scene, and they confirmed he was dead.
As it is not yet known how he died, a security perimeter was set up until the medical examiner and the federal police laboratory had examined the scene.
