Tomorrowland – Hardwell and Tiestö round off the festival’s 11th year

The Tomorrowland festival, held in Boom in the De Schorre province, finished on Sunday. It provided three days of electronic music. DJs Hardwell and Tiestö were the headliners for the third and final day. They performed on the main stage in the middle of the evening, while 3 Are Legend rounded off Tomorrowland’s 11th year. There were, as always, plenty of surprises.

There was a performance by the Belgian National Orchestra in the afternoon. Around 80 musicians played a piece composed especially for the festival, called “Symphony of Unity”. It was backed by fireworks and dance numbers. The orchestra also played classical versions of songs by artists who often play at Tomorrowland, including Avicii, Armin Van Buuren, and Robert Miles.

Police said there were no serious incidents on the festival site on Sunday. On Sunday, 46 festival-goers were arrested for possessing small quantities of drugs, as well as five dealers. These figures are similar to those for the previous days.
