Anderlecht: police car crashes into childcare centre

An unmarked police car crashed into a childcare centre in Anderlecht last week, on July 23rd. The police of the Midi zone (Anderlecht, Saint-Gilles and Forest) stated there were no injuries, confirming the information published in the La Capitale newspaper. The patrol was in pursuit of two people that had just broken into a pharmacy with an axe. The two thugs were arrested and handed over to the Brussels prosecutor. The two men had just broken into a pharmacy located on Anderlecht’s Du Meir roundabout when they were spotted and followed by a police car located nearby. The unmarked police car joined the chase but ended up crashing into the childcare centre located on Rue Formanoir.
