The task force set up by FEB (Federation of Enterprises in Belgium, a non-profit organisation) to deal with the arrival of refugees in Belgium “is moving forward,” and has now nominated a president. Michel Vermaerke, FEB Board member, accepted the post, revealed the employers’ association on Tuesday.
“The values of the task force remain unchanged: business contributions should be ‘realistic’, ‘useful’, and ‘legal’ in order to help solve this crisis,” explains Pieter Timmermans, FEB Chief Executive, according to the press release. The task force will next meet on October 20th.
