Two radicals arrested in Vilvoorde

The Vilvoorde-Machelen police force arrested 2 radicals this weekend, reveal local authorities on Tuesday. The 2 middle-aged men were arrested as they were putting up racist posters on buildings and road signs.

The very same posters were found all over Vilvoorde when the reception centre for asylum seekers opened in the Brabant region town. They use Nederlandse Volks-Unie slogans (a far-right group active in the Netherlands).

Police also found stickers and fined the 2 men for broadcasting racist messages.
