Decline in petrol, diesel and heating diesel prices

The ongoing decline in the price of an oil barrel, which has reached its lowest level for 12 years, is reflected in the price of oil products across Belgium.  From this Thursday, maximum petrol, diesel and heating prices will go down, say the management of the company l'Energie. Thus 95 RON and 98 RON petrol will both see their maximum price decrease from 1.3 centimes per euro at the pumps so as to respectively end up at 1.278 euros and 1.336 euros per litre.

The maximum price of a litre of diesel at the pumps will reach 1.054 euros, decreasing by 2.5 centimes per euro.

The maximum prices for heating oil will also reduce; these will decrease to 0.3931 euros per litre (a drop of 2.41 centimes) for a purchase of less than 2 litres and to 0.3638 euros per litre (a drop of 2.41 centimes) for a purchase of more than 2 litres.

So-called “extra” heating diesel and kerosene will also see their prices decrease from Thursday.
