Around 15 ski centres still open in Liège and Luxembourg provinces

Around fifteen ski centres currently remain open in the Liège and Luxembourg provinces today (Wednesday), their regional tourist offices websites state. Between 25 and 30 cm of snow was measured in the Hautes Fagnes region (in the Ardennes) where all ski slopes are, once again, open.

In the Cantons de l'Est region it is also possible to ski at Bütgenbach (Eifel), Haus Ternel (Eupen), Tomberg (Saint-Vith) and Loscheimergraben, in the Haute vallée de l'Our, or even to ride a snowmobile in Baugnez, between Malmedy and Waimes.

The Alpine ski slopes of Baraque Fraiture and Thier des Rexhons (in Spa) are acessible, unlike those of Val de Wanne (Trois-Ponts). Cross-country skiers are also expected in Samrée, close to La Roche-en-Ardenne.

It is the nineteenth day of winter sports in the 2015-2016 season.
