One suspect has died following the shootout during the raid in an apartment located on Rue du Dries in the Forest commune in Brussels.
It is still unclear whether one or two suspects are still on the run, police authorities indicated on Tuesday evening.
“One body has been found in the building on Rue du Dries. His identity has still not been determined, but we are able to confirm that it is not Salah Abdeslam”, Eric Van Der Sypt, spokeperson for the federal police, indicated.
