Victim of anti-semitism: Jewish schoolboy leaves Uccle school

A young boy aged 12 years has decided to leave the l'Athénée Royal Uccle 2 school following frequent anti-Semitic comments and has decided to enroll at a Jewish school, RTBF reported on Tuesday evening on its website. The adolescent's mother complained to the police about the school for "inciting discrimination, hate or violence with respect to a group or community", RTBF stated having read the police report.

Moreover, a file fron Unia (the former Centre for Equal opportunities) and the LBCA, Ligue Belge Contre l'Antisémitisme (the Belgium League against Anti-Semitism) was introduced as evidence.

Uccle 2 does not wish to comment directly and refers the media to the Federation of Teachers in Wallonia and Brussels.
