The young man walking about Verviers calling for death to Christians is the son of an imam who preaches hate and has a ministerial expulsion order against him, confirmed Monday the Secretary of State for Asylum and Migration Theo Francken. In the short video disseminated on a French site the young man is seen in the streets of Verviers calling, in Arabic, for death to all Christians. Theo Francken has confirmed that the man is the son of an imam who is a hate preacher.
The Secretary of State initiated in the spring a second effort to obtain against the latter an order for expulsion from the country. The preacher appealed a first expulsion order before the immigration office.
