A man’s lifeless body was found on Ostende beach at around 11am on Saturday, the Bruges section of the West Flanders Prosecutor’s office has revealed.
Emergency services quickly arrived at the scene to protect the body.
The laboratory and medical examiner were at the scene to investigate and determine the cause of death. The body still has to be identified.
