Spanish police have opened an inquest after the death of a Belgian, aged 42, in Northern Spain. The Federal Service for Foreign Affairs indicated this today (Monday).
The victim’s body was found on a compost heap in the town of San Roman de la Vega in the Leon province.
The autopsy revealed that the man did not die a natural death. The circumstances of the death still remain unknown.
The Belgian ambassador is in contact with both local authorities and the victim’s family.
