Abdeslam counterfeiter held for possessing child pornography

One of the individuals suspected of having produced false identity papers used by some of the perpetrators of the Paris and Brussels attacks, has also been had a hearing in respect of possessing child pornography images. This was indicated yesterday (Monday) by the Brussels Public Prosecutor's Office, which did not wish to comment further.

Information, which was released by the channel RTL, indicated that numerous photo and video files were found on computers within the main production room for this activity, which is located in Saint-Gilles (Brussels).

Around ten individuals were implicated to varying degrees for the production of false identity papers.

One of them, Djamal Ouali, fled to Italy where he was arrested.

This gang is suspected of having produced, in particular, the false papers of Salah Abdeslam and Khalid El Bakraoui, who blew himself up on March 22nd this year.
