The Belgian national who took the first prize of 50 million euros in EuroMillions Tuesday night has been identified, announced Thursday the National Lottery. The player, who prefers to remain anonymous, bet through the e-lotto.be electronic platform.
The winner was awarded the tidy sum of 50 million euros, which is the seventh largest amount won in Belgium through EuroMillions.
Just two weeks ago, a resident of Brussels won the jackpot of 168 million euros.
