Romanie Schotte has been crowned Miss Belgium 2017. The 19 year old from Bruges was chosen during a gala evening at the Plopsa theatre in Adinkerke (La Panne) on Saturday. Second and third place went to Delphine Devos de Deerlijk (20 years old) and Eva Mira from Sint-Nicolaas (18 years old).
Romanie is a 19 year old student from Bruges. She is currently studying Business management for small and medium businesses. She likes sport and outings. Eastern Flanders had a place on the podium thanks to Delphine Devos, who came second.
Eva Mira from Sint-Nicolaas (near Liège) was Wallonia’s representative on the podium. There was no Walloon in the top five last year. The new Miss Belgium 2017 Romanie Schotte was handed the crown by Lenty Frans, the outgoing Miss Belgium.
