Bank branches and federal public services will take this Friday off to take advantage of the public holiday of Ascension Day on Thursday to have an extended long weekend. Bpost will still be open, so postal offices will still be carrying out business as usual on Friday 26 May.
While bank branches will be closed, all electronic banking services will remain operational. It will therefore be possible to carry out bank payments online and via mobile phone apps. Advice is given to clients to plan their transactions accordingly.
