Ivanka Trump, the American President’s daughter and adviser, and her husband, Jared Kushner, have not come to Brussels. Ms Trump extended her stay in Rome, where she had met the Pope with her father. The couple have returned to Washington this morning (Thursday).
Ivanka had begun her father’s first visit abroad (since he was sworn in as President in January) with him. She went to Saudi Arabia, Israel as well as Rome.
Whilst her father flew to Brussels yesterday (Wednesday), she went with her husband to visit the Pantheon in Rome.
On Thursday morning, Ivanka Trump posted a message on Twitter in which she mentioned that she she was leaving the “Eternal City”, and thanked the Romans for their welcome.
The couple were returning to the American capital, a White House source indicated to the British newspaper the Daily Mail.
