Shots were again heard during last night (Tuesday night to Wednesday morning) in Borgerhout (Antwerp). Local police indicated that nobody was injured. After a street fight, shots were fired and police discovered a bullet hole in a dwelling. Two suspects have been arrested for questioning.
Police have not yet established a link between the previous shootings and violent incidents in Berendrecht, Borgerhout, Dam and Brecht.
The latest incident took place in Koolstraat, where several people were having a scuffle. The protagonists fled in two cars. The police successfully intercepted one of the cars containing two occupants.
