Call for witnesses following abduction attempt in Bouillon

A call for witnesses was issued on Tuesday at the request of the Public Prosecutor’s Office in Luxembourg Province (Neufchateau Division) following an attempt to abduct a 17-year-old girl in the municipality of Bouillon on Sunday August 7. During the incident, which took place between 11 pm and midnight in Faubourg France (France suburb), a man sprang out of his vehicle and tried to force the girl into it. However, she broke free of her attacker, who then drove off towards the French border, one km away.

The assailant’s car could be a light grey Opel with a Belgian number-plate.

The would-be kidnapper is a male of North African origin aged between 30 and 40 years. He is about 1m80 tall, of medium build with slightly wavy black hair, thick dark eyebrows and dark eyes. He sported a young beard and a black moustache.
