Belgium was second at the international firework festival at Scheveningen in the Netherlands. Spain took the title of the finest pyrotechnic display. The fireworks were let off from a pontoon 300 metres from the coast.
The festival, which began on Friday, took place with four firework evenings of displays. Overall it attracted some 330,000 visitors.
