Police discover 2,100 cannabis plants

On Wednesday morning, the federal police together with the police from the Sylle et Dendre police zone, discovered 2,100 cannabis plants, as well as cultivation equipment in a hangar in Jurbise. This was indicated by local press.

The police discovered a significant cannabis cultivation in a hangar situated in Rue Antoine Criquielion in Jurbise. Equipment used to cultivate cannabis was also found.

The local press said that the plants measured around thirty centimetres and were spread over four growing rooms. The plants did not have their leaves, which might suppose that they had been harvested.

The operation was planned by an investigating judge in Mons. For now, nobody has been arrested. The investigation is thus continuing to try to dismantle this particular network.
