Léopold II bust unscrewed

A bust of King Leopold II in the Duden Park in Forest was unscrewed from its plinth on the night of Wednesday to Thursday by an anti-colonial collective as a way of denouncing the colonization of Congo begun by the former Belgian monarch. “Free Congo” and other references to colonialism were written on the plinth, the mayor said.
