The emergency services were called to an explosion on Monday evening at the Paardenmarkt site in Antwerp. Local police indicated this morning that they have today recovered two bodies from the rubble.
The individuals have so far not been identified. It has not yet been established whether these individuals have been reported missing. The emergency services continue to work on the matter.
