Two suspects were arrested for questioning in the case concerning stolen images, which are likely to have been filmed in the women’s changing room within the sports complex, Haute-Ecole HoGent, located in Ghent. The East Flanders Public Prosecutor indicated the information on Monday. One of the suspects, aged 22, had a hearing before an investigating judge. A warrant was not issued for his arrest and he was released.
The Public Prosecutor indicated, “Early indications, suggesting the man’s involvement, were not confirmed by the more in-depth investigation.”
The hearing for the second suspect, aged 41, will take place on Tuesday.
Ghent police have received several complaints in this case. On Monday morning, connections to the forum implicated were noted through a suspect’s user account and several videos were taken down.
