The price of gasoline and heating oil will increase as of Wednesday, the Federal Service for the Economy announced. A maximum of €1.477/litre will be charged for 95 E10.
The price for 98 will increase to a maximum of €1.537/litre, while 98 E10 will also rise to a maximum of €1.545/litre.
The maximum diesel price exceeded that of 95 E10 gasoline for the first time in March. This was a result of a deliberate decision by the government to make the Belgian car fleet more “green”. Despite that, the measures announced by the government call for no increase in the price of diesel.
Heating oil will also becomes more expensive: an order of at least 2,000 litres will cost a maximum €0.6363/litre.
