An investigation has been opened following the discovery of the teenagers body. It still remains unclear what caused the death. A passersby found the body of a young buy, 15 years old, last night at 10 pm. According to information relayed by Het Nieuwsblad, no traces of violence had been found on the body.
The teenager had been visiting his friend the same evening and had been told by his parents to come home before 10 pm. The two houses are less than a few hundred metres distances from each other. His friend has said that no drogues were involved and the death is a complete mystery.
The prosecutor's office in Halle-Vilvoorde has in the meantime requested an autopsy and pending the results, does not want to communicate more about the circumstances of the teenager's death.
