New temperature record set today.

Today Thursday, the temperature reached 27,2 degrees Celsius in Brussels at 15h00. This is a new record for any 19 April, since weather temperatures started to be measured, according to the Royal Meteorological Institute of Belgium.

The previous record was set in 19 April 1988 when it was 24,8 degrees. The institute says that if the temperatures rises a bit further, it could beat the hottest day ever recorded for a day in April which was 15 April 2007, when the temperatures reached 28,7 degrees.
